Fantastic News. Microsoft's Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) is nearly dead! The bane of developers lives for much of the last decade, and a major security hole, IE6 has consistently been in wide use in the UK, especially in corporate and public sector environments, even though it is over 10 years old.
Luckily, Microsoft agree:
"Time to pop open the champagne because based on the latest data from Net Applications, IE6 usages in the US has now officially dropped below 1%," blogged Roger Capriotti, Microsoft's director of Internet Explorer marketing."
